Finchley Music Centre is run by Barnet Music Education Services and is held at Moss Hall Junior School on Thursday evenings, Friday evenings and Saturday mornings for 10 weeks during term time.

We provide a range of activities covering all styles of music for students between the ages of 4 to 18 years old. These include, String Orchestras (all levels), Chamber Ensembles, Jazz String Ensembles, Orchestral Instrumental Tuition and Scholarships, World Music Instrumental Groups and Tuition – (so far, Tabla and Steel Pans Band), ‘Electric Strings’ (Rock ‘n Pop Bands – all levels), Guitar lessons (Electric and Acoustic), Bass Guitar lessons, Drum Kit lessons, Barnet Youth Brass Band, Barnet Youth Orchestra, Barnet Youth Wind Orchestra, Barnet Saxophone Ensemble, Music Theory Classes, Aural Training Classes, Young Music Makers, Infant Choir, Junior Choir, The Finchley Youth Choir..
