TABLA CLASSES
Fridays 5:00pm until 7:00pm
Musical Director: Sulekh Ruparell
The Tabla or Indian drums are rapidly gaining mainstream popularity. It is now accepted as a classical instrument with a deep-rooted history and wide solo repertoire, as well as a versatile accompaniment instrument to all forms of music.
Joining Tabla classes in Barnet provides an excellent opportunity for students to learn this authentic and intricate percussion instrument of the Eastern sub-Continent in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Classes have been running for 5 years and students have already performed at venues such as the Arts Depot and Avenue House.
A minimum age of 10 years is recommended and students of all ability levels are welcome. Excellent links with registered UK-based examination boards have allowed students to gain grades at regular intervals. If you would like to join Tabla classes in Barnet and learn this traditional and versatile percussion instrument, please contact us on the number below.
